French producer The French Cupcake released yesterday a new EP, on the label Plik & Plok Records, that was already featured a couple of times here. The title track, “Lapland” is a nice instrumental song, quite funky. There are 4 remixes for this song, among which 2 were taken from the remix contest organised by the label, for which we were partners. These 2 lucky winners are Sigmund K and Kerstn. Romantique and Fraicheur also remixed it. My personal favorite is the one by Romantique, a bit slower than the original, with a downtempo style. The EP ends with another original song, “Il est minuit, Paris s’éveille”. It’s another instrumental track, very chill, with a nice piano touch. The EP is downloadable for free!
