Pitchfork Music Festival Paris 2019
One of our favorite music festivals, Pitchfork Paris, is back at the end of the month! With two new stages, a more urban sounding and new extra activities, this year’s edition is gonna be fun!
The festival will feature around 50 different artists in pop, electronic, rap, folk and more.
As usual, Pitchfork Avant-Garde will showcase up-and-coming acts now taking place within the Grande Halle, at La Petite Halle and Boris Vian auditorium.
Thursday will be dedicated to hip-hop, with artists such as Skepta, Mura Masa, Ezra Collective…
Friday and Saturday will be a mix between pop-rock and electro. The number of artists is impressive, but some of our favorites include Chromatics, Primal Scream, Belle & Sebastian, The 1975, 2manydjs, Agar Agar…
There are also many names we don’t know, leaving space for discovering new artists there. Given the quality of Pitchfork’s selection, we can trust them!
And when you wanna have breaks between 2 live shows, there will be plenty of things to do: ball pool, fairground rides or roller disco, a record store by Les Balades Sonores, the Klin d’Oeil creators market…
We’ve attended the festival 4 times and it’s safe to say it’s one of the best ones (if not the best) in Paris. Be ready to immerse yourself in the best of today’s indie music, surrounded by other music lovers coming from everywhere, with a unique atmosphere. See you there!
