House lovers, this post is for you! German label Steyoyoke, which celebrated recently its first anniversary, released a new EP this week.It comes from Florian Rietze, a new artist in their family.
This young German producer developed a very nice sound identity, that matches well the spirit of Steyoyoke. As it’s often the case with the EPs from this label, a particular atmosphere is created: “Treibholz” has a sort of melancholy and dreamy atmosphere in it, while still being groovy thanks to a solid bassline. The second track, “Treibhaus”, starts very slowly, but the groove is gradually introduced, completed by delicate vocals. 2 remixes are also included, one by Antonio Olivieri, and the other one by MPathy.
