After recently revealing a track called “Face To Face”, Daphni (the 2nd alias of Caribou) has just shared “Tin”, taken from his upcoming Fabric Live 93 Mix. With his powerful sound and soulful vocals, the track is highly addictive and may sound familiar to some of you, as it was featured in previous mixes from Caribou.
The Fabric Live series welcomes some of the best producers out there, and we can’t wait to hear the one from Daphni. It will include 23 original, unreleased Daphni tracks and 4 new Daphni edits.
Fabriclive 93 will be out on July 21st!
“What started as a mix featuring bits of new music gradually evolved until it reached a place where it was essentially a studio recording and barely a DJ mix at all, yet the structure remained. A lot of these tracks were recorded in situ in the mix itself – I’d put one track in place and instead of searching through existing music to find the track to follow it I’d just make an entirely new one.”
