Cliché is a 5-piece band from Bordeaux, France. Unlike some famous French bands we’re talking about, they are singing in French, and are influenced by artists such as Air, Serge Gainsbourg and Alain Bashung. It seems like more and more bands are deciding to sing in French and pay tribute to these artists…(for example, Paradis and Poom).
Cliché released this month their debut eponym EP, containing 5 tracks. The song “Hélicon”, revealed before the release, is coming with a vintage video clip, looking good. There’s another video clip coming soon. In this EP, you’ll hear sweet melodies and vocals, probably reminding you some of the artists we mentioned before. My personal favorite is “En Catimini”.
“Cliché EP” is out now via microqlima, a brand new French label. To listen to the full EP, head over to Spotify or Deezer!
