Sauvage is an upcoming French band, already featured on the famous compilations Kitsuné, Seriously Eric, Novorama… They’re now ready to release their debut EP, “Jadis”. It was produced by Pierrick Devin, who worked with the likes of Lilly Wood & The Prick, Cassius, Alex Gopher…
Sauvage is a duo: Pierre-Alain, influenced by electro and artists such as Caribou and Air; and Edouard, who is more into rock. It’s probably the combination of these influences which makes their music so good.
You can discover below the first extract from their EP, “Vendredi”, that they describe as “cold r’n’b electro”. Whatever the genre we’ll use to describe it, it’s really good and features haunting vocals. The video clip matches very well the song atmosphere, and reflects the visual identity of Sauvage.
