You might already know German producer Dinnerdate (aka Simon Hoppe) from his superchill remixes… If not, his latest track is a great opportunity to discover his music. It’s a collaboration with the duo Fabich and Ferdinand Weber.
From what we can read on Thump for the song premiere, the collaboration has been really easy, as Simon says ““We met each other and instantly connected, because we seemed to have exactly the same taste in music. One day, Ferdinand showed me these chords, I listened to them and I had the finished track in mind immediately. We kept passing the keyboard to one another and everyone did what they did best… after about seven hours of tweaking the entire track was finished.”
The result is a brilliant track, with a very nice melody, and vocals from Natalie Major. The piano pattern reminded me of Darius’ excellent song “Espoir”. We hope he will be doing more originals and collabs as good as this one!
