One of my favorite bands, Flight Facilities, are releasing today their new single called “Clair De Lune”, featuring Christine Hoberg on the vocals. This is their fourth single, after “Crave You”, “Foreign Language”, and “With You”. Recently, they’ve been busy with the preparation of their mixtapes for Triple J, and their Frequently Flying Tour.
Let’s talk about this new song now… The duo reveals a new sound, different from their usual disco tunes. We could already hear this new direction with their remix for Miike Snow, released in July. The song takes inspiration from Claude Debussy’s song “Clair De Lune”. Once more, Flight Facilities delivers a brilliant song, without sticking to a genre. I had the chance to see them live in France last weekend, and it’s clear that they are loving what they do, as they said today on their Facebook page: “Thank you for the support so far and letting us continually make the music that we truly love.” We truly love it too guys!
