Refs is a duo composed of producer Zachary Lipkins and vocalist Richard Saunders. After releasing a couple of tracks last year, they kick off 2018 with a stunning one called “Bound to Lose”. I didn’t know the band before, and I’ve been really impressed by the production’s quality after the first listen. The echoed vocals reminded me of Disclosure and add a great dimension to the song.
