“New Age-Electronic-Romance.” That’s how Octave Minds, the project between Boys Noize and Chilly Gonzales is described. Their album was released this week, as well as a new video for “Anthem”. Their sound combines the best from both producers: piano melodies by Chilly Gonzales, and Boys Noize’s electronic beats. “88 keys and 808 kicks” is how Gonzales sums up this sound, for the combination between the 88 keys of his piano and the Roland TR-808 used by Alex.
