As you may noticed, we’re regurlarly featuring artists from Australia: I don’t know what’s going on there, but they’re producing incredibly good music. Today, we’re sharing the new single from DCUP (aka Duncan MacLennan), called “Someone Told Me”.
You may already know his songs “Don’t Be Shy” and “Magic”, the kind of songs that put you instantly in a good mood. This new song is exactly the same: defined as “an instant classic”, it’s true that we cannot resist to this groove and gorgeous vocals. The video matches well the song: it shows a shadowy female figure dancing in front of an ever-changing background. Interesting to note that it was produced without post-productions effects.
The song has been remixed by La Felix, who highlights the vocals at the beginning, makes it funkier and add robot voices, making it sound like Daft Punk and Chromeo. The EP, available on iTunes, features other remixes from Flexcop, Space Jump Salute and Backstroke. Get it!
