Happy new year everyone! After a short break on the blog, we’re back and ready to post new amazing songs.
The first one in 2014 comes from Mansionair, a duo composed of Alex & Lachlan, from Sydney. A bit less than 100 Soundcloud followers, one song, we don’t know much about them. Their debut song is called “Hold Me Down”, and features vocals by Revier. It’s the kind of song I instantly fall in love with after clicking play. A sweet guitar intro, beautiful vocals, and dreamy synths, creating a very unique atmosphere. The vocals reminds me of Jeff Buckley, while some synths parts sound like Flume.
The song is downloadable for free! A perfect start for this new year, I hope to discover more upcoming bands like this in 2014.
